Wells Fargo Stagecoach Arrives to Announce Border to Border Hunger Challenge

On Tuesday, May 22 the South Carolina Food Bank Association (SCFBA) will hold a press event at 10:30 am to announce the Border to Border Hunger Challenge sponsored by Wells Fargo. The event at 10:30 am at 2220 Shop Road in Columbia will announce the $150,000 campaign to reduce childhood and family hunger across our entire state during the summer.

Chamber member Beverly Browder dies

A member of the Fairfield County Chamber passed away last Friday.

Beverly Browder (72) was well-known for her beautiful voice.

Beverly had been professionally trained and performed in many of the local churches and special events throughout her life.

Beverly and her husband Bill were members of the Chamber for years. 

A memorial service for Beverly Cook Browder was held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012, at St.

RIDGEWAY, SC (WIS) - Kids in Ridgeway got a chance to have fun and fish, while learning about faith Saturday afternoon.

It was the fifth annual Lake Wateree Kids Fishing Tournament, hosted by the Brotherhood organization of Lake Wateree Baptist Chuch.  The group gave away eight bikes and more than $500 in fishing gear and gift cards. 

Before the kids' catches were weighed, the group gathered for a devotion.
